Rhody Run’s Fastest Female & Author – Kim Jones – Book Signing in Port Townsend

May 1991 Kim Seelye (now Kim Jones) returned to Port Townsend to take part in the Rhody Run. She was already an accomplished distance runner with many first places, and she swept the field at that year’s Rhody Race. Not only did she win but also set a (female) course record that is still unbroken as of 2012 of 41:10 minutes.


Kim also holds records in three different age groups for Rhody Run and returned for Rhody Run XXXV in 2013.


Kim has published a book ” Dandelion Growing Wild” and is visiting Port Townsend to talk about her career, life and challenges. Her visit was hosted by Port Townsend Marathon Association:
