Lake District – Fell Run – Joss Naylor Challenge

Congratulations to my 61 year old brother who just completed, (8/16/12), the Lakeland Joss Naylor Challenge. A grueling 48 mile course over fell tops and down dales with 17,000 ft ascent/descent to be done in a specific time limit based on age. Moz Musson completes Joss Naylor Challenge

Big congratulations to Moz Musson, who stole unnoticed into Greendale with Jeff Harrison at his side at 9.26pm last night with four minutes to spare on his 18 hour schedule, completely flumoxing his waiting support who’d spent the past hour peering hopefully out of a car window up Middle Fell in the hopes of catching a glimpse of our latest wet weather hero. Conditions were pretty grim for the first half of the run, but things cleared more or less by Bowfell, and were really quite pleasant by Great Gable.  Well done Moz!
