Cotton feels cool and comfortable; until it gets wet from sweat or bog trotting. Wet cotton is more abrasive and creates hot spots by retaining moisture, heat and friction. Continued dampness will turn your feet prune-like and they become easily susceptible to blisters. Blisters are not the runner’s friend!!
